Mine is the Suncom TAC2, it’s got to be the most responsive stick I have ever come across. Haven’t ever used a Konix Speedking, they look comfortable though.
Mine would probably be the CH Flightstick (http://www.computermuseum.li/Testpage/JoyStickPC.gif), virtually indestructible unlike my Speedking which I destroyed playing Jaguar XJ220…
Konix Speedking was the mutt’s nuts back in the day. I still have a few these days for my various machines.
No use for left-handers though.
I didn’t think of it being handed, well that’s me out.
I have one of those, it’s fantastic. I also have a Cheetah Bug which sits in your hand like the Speedking and is just as good. I never got on with desktop joysticks…
My favourite control method of all time is the keyboard, especially for those games which required pixel perfect positioning!
Quickshot Maverick 1. Had it for my Amiga but seem to recall it plugging into my +3 as well. Amazing joystick that I stupidly broke in an experiment in the days before I could ‘do’ electronics.

Here’s a review of the Bug, complete with a Tortoise (remember those?)

I think my head would have to say the Competition Pro. A classic look and sturdy as a rock. Many people would put the Zip Stick as a superior version of this style of joystick but I never used that one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Competition_pro_first_version_45deg.png
But my heart would say the Konix Navigator. It’s a Marmite joystick in the same way the Speedking was (I didn’t like the Speedking) but for me it fit perfectly in my hand and was great for loads of games. It did give you big blisters though! No pain, no gain 😉 http://www.retro-kit.co.uk/user/custom/Commodore/Amiga/3rdParty/Konix/KonixNavigator2.jpg
Classic Atari joystick for me. Quite like the speedking and Bug, but I refuse to use any desktop joystick with rubber suckers.. In short, they suck 😉
The Zipstick and Competition Pro Extra, the former narrowly takes it as they seemed to last a bit better.
Konix Navigator – had to be my favorite for my Specy 48k would be great if we can use these on the new Vega!!!
