This is the latest addition to my collection. Ive wanted to buy one of these for a long while. Here is a brief description of the device taken from the designers website.
The SDCard HxC Floppy Emulator is n universal 3″, 3″1/2, 5″1/4 and 8” Floppy disk drive emulator based on SDCard. Most of disk formats can be emulated bt this emulator. High density (HD – MFM), Double densisty (DD – MFM) and Single density (SD – FM) floppies are supported. Most non-standard and standard track/sectors layout aresupported. Special track formats like Amiga or E-mu tracks are also supported in both read & write access. This make this device very versatile, and thanks to its flexibility, the SDCard HxC Floppy Emulator support most of computers, CNC machines, keyboards and samplers.
I’ve only tried this device on my Amstrad CPC 6128 so far – and i’m really impressed. Not only is the menu operation from the device itself very easy to use, the special menu for the CPC that runs on the CPC itself is also very good.

As you can see on the photo to the left, the device shows you what disk image you are currently using, as well as the location of the disk being accessed. The photo below shows you that the CPC is accessing the disk image for Roland in the Caves at track 2 of 42 on side 0.

I was actually thinking of getting one of these for my Amiga (if I ever get the keyboard working on it), but looking at it on eBay, I thought it might have been fake, and that it would have been a waste of money. Now that I know it is legitimate, I might actually buy one, once I get the money… Too bad it doesn’t say anything about it working on the C64/C128…
