Another of the major exhibitors at the Vintage Computer Festival at Bletchley Park in June was The Centre for Computing History, based in Suffolk.
Documenting the history of computers from the first home computing machine, the Altair 8800 in 1975, to the modern day, the museum is a treasure trove of retro machinery. Visits are by prior appointment and are easily arranged by e-mail or phone. The team is also very active on social media, having Facebook, Twitter and YouTube feeds.
