Revival Retro Events are proud to announce that John Romero (the creator of Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake) will be attending Revival Retro Events on the 9th August at Dunstall Park, Wolverhampton.
John will take on those who challenge him to Deathmatch Doom and Quake throughout the day and also participate in a Q/A session and sign visitors Doom and Quake memorabilia.
John has not attended an event of this ilk in the UK to date, so this could possibly be the only time you meet a recognised gaming legend that invented a genre – the First Person Shooter.
Last year’s Revival event was given rave reviews on social media and blogging sites and an event video was created and as a result shows exactly what visitors can expect to experience at this year’s event.
